Players take it in turns to make moves. The first player to set-up their pieces gets to play first. During their turn, players flick their Aliens or Mothership with a finger, trying to forcefully collide with and knock the opponent's pieces off the play area. Any piece, except for the Mothership, that is knocked off the table is eliminated from play.

Shields must not be flicked.

If a players Mothership is destroyed, it can be respawned in exchange for a shield, which is then removed from the game. The Mothership must be placed exactly where the shield was on the table.

Once a player has lost all of their shields, their Mothership can no longer be respawned.

The last player standing is the winner.
